The tablet market is booming with new investments and releases from all corners of the globe. There is almost a new tablet kicking off every month. However, there seems to be no competition for iPad 3 tablet ever since its release in 2010. As per the analysts iPad 3 may very well kill the market of laptops going forward. There seems to be no respite for the prime laptop makers such as Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba and Samsung ever since iPad has hit the international market space. The dwindling sales numbers in laptop market are sheer indicators that tablet will be the order of the day.
The stage is set for iPad 3 to be the torch bearer in the segment. And the truth of the matter is that it is an undisputed leader in the segment and since its release the makers have tried adapting their designs to it rather than focusing upon a cutting edge design. The likes of HTC Flyer tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab and few others are nothing but cheap imitations of iPad. Even if the competitors are able to reciprocate a near iPad design they will have tough time in streamlining their native App store. For instance, Apple’s app store has over 1.6 million apps to choose from while that for BlackBerry PlayBook tablet has only meager 3,000 apps to select from. This clearly makes iPad 3 a better product and if features such as USB enablement, HD camera and keyboard enablement are provided on iPad then it can easily beat laptops.
